The Yoma Bakery was founded and inaugurated on the 27th of November 2008. Yoma Bakery has long been famous for its high quality breads. It began as a small local operation, serving mainly the local communities in Ughelli North, with a daily production capacity of 40 bags of flours. Over the years, it has grown to become one of the area’s most respected bakeries. In 2010, brand-new, state of the art facility where added, marking the next generation of breads from Yoma Bakery.
Time is of the essence. A phrase often heard in our Resort rings true throughout our processes: Long fermentation made affordable through automation. All too often, bakeries tout their products while rushing the process. But at Yoma Bakery, it’s unquestionable that there can be no shortcuts when producing high quality breads. With proofing times ranging from 8 to 24 hours depending on product types, we are fully committed to the quality of our breads. Our custom-fabricated machinery permits us to preserve traditions of baking, while keeping our customers and their budgets in mind
As a food technologist, as well as the supervisor in Yoma Bakery where good quality bread is produced knowing full well that bread is a common food for every average family in Nigeria, I and my whole team at the bakery therefore own the entire people that consumes Yoma Bread a singular duty to ensure that the method of processing is of the required standard.
